Speaker's Bio
Manj Sohal OPEX Expert, ReSource Pro
Manj Sohal

Manj is an expert in Lean Operations for the service industry, and has worked in over 8 countries, across multiple sectors including media, customer service, healthcare, distribution, and insurance. As an operations director in Shanghai, he established the widest and most effective luxury magazine distribution system in China. With over 10 years experience as a change and transformation agent, Manj has a track record of driving results using the disciplines of project management, Lean Six Sigma, change management and outsourcing.

Manj joined ReSource Pro in 2010 and leads key strategic initiatives related to product innovation, technology and process improvement. He will talk about how ReSource Pro's drive to innovate helps insurance organizations transform their back office operations from a cost center to a driver of growth and profitability, and how this aligns with China's overall vision to rise up the value chain as a global center of innovation and excellence.

Vanban Le Wu Ph.D. Chief Technology Officer of Centling Technologies
Vanban Le Wu

Mr. Vanban Le Wu is the Chief Technology Officer of CentLing Technologies since 2009. He had a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northwestern University. He worked in U.S. Bell Laboratories for nearly 30 years going through three telecommunication technologies evolutions – from electronic switching to digital switching and packet switching. He received a U.S. patent on "Telecommunications Database Accessing Method" in 1990. He was a project lead in the study of Trauma Care Information System funded by US Department of Defense ARPA and AT&T in 1995. He was an adjunct professor in Fudan University in 1999 and U.S. Northwestern University from 1999 to 2001 for the Management of Information Technologies Program (MITP). He is currently an adjunct professor of Beijing University giving lectures in the Software and Microelectronics department.

Under the leadership and guidance of Mr. Wu, CentLing Technologies R&D organization completed numerous outsourcing projects for Alcatel-Lucent. He gave consultations to the development of Hospital Information System for municipal hospitals in Qingdao and many CentLing intellectual properties for the Company. Besides, Mr. Wu contributed to the realization of Quantum Communication and E-logistics Information System applications.

Mr. Wu's research interests include Computational Geometry, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing and Quantum Computing.
